Overview & Responsibilities:-
My client is a global business and market leader within their industry. They are currently looking for a European Buyer to join the team and manage the European purchasing strategy for raw materials. This will involve working closely with both suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop a successful purchasing strategy that will be instrumental in the company hitting its business plan.

Responsibilties include:
- The sourcing of new parts from existing or new European suppliers
- Co-ordination of European projects, and quotations with the Richco supply chain team in Asia and/or United States.
- Review current supply contracts and/or agreements for parts, negotiate future terms, and make recommendations
- Obtain and share with key team members, current market intelligence, and future trends

As the right candidate you will:
- Have strong educational background
- Have proven experience in sourcing and procurement
- Have the ability to read specification drawings
- Have strong communication skills

This role is going to be interacting heavily with the European office and therefore significant travel will be expected.
